Description
This course will help you to maintain or improve your mental health and wellbeing.
Dementia pottery gives you the opportunity to develop new skills while socialising with others facing similar challenges. This session is designed so that everyone can feel involved, even if dementia is more progressed. Dementia pottery allows you to get involved in all aspects of the pottery process in a friendly and supportive environment.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you or your partner or carer are affected by dementia.
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. You may wish to wear an apron. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
There is a £10 cost for this course which is to cover the material fees.
