Description
This course will help you to maintain your health and wellbeing.
Come and get a flavour of our Cooking Around Britain course with this relaxed and welcoming taster session. This one-off class is a chance to try out a simple recipe inspired by British cuisine.
You'll prepare a delicious dish, pick up useful cooking tips, and experience how enjoyable and rewarding cooking can be for your wellbeing. It's also a chance to meet others, build confidence in the kitchen, and see if the full course is right for you.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you would like to improve your wellbeing. Our courses are for people who live in the EMCCA region aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
All ingredients will be provided but you should bring food containers to carry your food home in. As you will be working with food, please make sure long hair is tied back and hands/nails are clean. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
This course is free and there are no other costs.
You will be asked for food and drink consent during the enrolment process.
