DACES receive funding from the ESFA to provide courses for Derbyshire residents. By registering/enrolling with us you are consenting to sharing your information with us and funding organisations in line with Government guidance for further education providers and you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of enrolment. On an annual basis you will be required to show evidence of residency to check your eligibility for funding, as well as for ID checks.
Adult learners aged 19+ If you live in a devolved area you can enrol online, over the phone or in centre, but full cost fees apply and we will contact you about any additional fees due (check your eligibility for funding online). Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an active an EHC Plan (check your eligibility for funding online).

Description
This qualification is designed for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. You will learn that there is a need to understand the issues, report on those who may be at risk and support signposting to relevant services.
Who is this course for?
Entry to this course is at the discretion of the course manager. The course is ideal for those that support in the workplace who may work with, support, or interact with people at risk of, or experiencing domestic abuse. Suitable to people working in a wide range of sectors including healthcare, social care, childcare, education and housing.
How will I learn?
You will produce an electronic portfolio which will be internally and externally assessed to gain the qualification. The course will be delivered by a tutor online, using Microsoft Teams.
